It feels good when we work together to serve kindness.

We believe a little bit of kindness goes a long way.

In these trying times, a lot of people in the Philippines have lost their source of income and frontliners have needed help - that’s why our Ronald McDonald House Charities chapter launched Kindness Kitchens. These are community kitchens that provide meals for frontliners and for those affected by COVID-19. We have literally opened the kitchens of our McDonald’s stores to prepare every meal. Then our amazing staff and kind volunteers deliver these food packages to those in need. It’s incredible - they’ll travel by foot, car and even boat to get these meals in people’s hands.

Social media posts share the impact of the Kindness Kitchens.

Kindness Kitchens will serve over 200,000 meals to Filipinos in need.

We also created a website and used social media to drive public donations for Kindness Kitchens. It was such a success – we received over $188,000 worth of donations, from individuals, enabling Kindness Kitchens to serve over 200,000 meals in Metro Manila and key provinces. And as our country continues to fight the pandemic, RMHC Philippines and McDonald’s Kindness Kitchens have promised to serve 100,000 more meals to Filipinos in need. It feels good when we work together to serve kindness.
